Photography has always been my passion and an integral part of my life. I consider myself very lucky to have been able to also make it my career. Over the years, photographing the meaningful moments of my clients’ lives has enriched my own life in ways I could not have predicted when I first decided to follow this path.  Thus, when I photograph your special moment, it really is as important to me as it is to you.

My experience includes photographing portraits of children, weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, families, and corporate events. Other accomplishments include being a published and an award-winning photographer.

When I first became a mom, I went in search for good photographers for my own children. I was looking for a photographer who was good with children, ran a kid-friendly studio, offered pricing that would allow me to enjoy as many photographs as I wanted without breaking the bank, had solid photographic skills, and offered really cute and unique themes. I visited mall studios and numerous high end private studios, and always came away disappointed. I searched and searched for the right studio, but eventually realized that I would simply never find one that offered everything I wanted.

I began to dream of what that studio would be like and decided the answer was to create it myself.  I have spent the last few years pursuing and perfecting my craft and offering all the things I feel parents like myself want.  I have turned Adena Photography into the fun and dynamic studio I envisioned.

To revisit my earlier checklist, as a mother of three, I am good with kids!  My studio is designed to be child-friendly — child-tested by three children and an assortment of nieces and nephews!  My pricing packages are constructed to give you maximum value and flexibility.  As for photographic skills and creative themes, a picture is worth a thousand words.  Please visit my photo gallery to see for yourself.

During my own wedding planning I was frustrated by the lack of photographers willing to give me my wedding negatives. Therefore, my business philosophy is centered on the belief that these images are yours, not mine. You will keep all of the digital images that I photograph at your event. In order to best document your special occasion, I utilize a photojournalistic style to capture the real meaning of your day.  I am more than happy to try and work with you to meet your budgetary needs. If you are planning a smaller/shorter wedding or event, please speak to me about discounted rates. Your day should be enjoyable and you should own beautiful images to remember it by.
